Mary mother of Jesus sculpture

This sculpture was done for our church gallery wall during a series about the life and journeys of Mary, the mother of Christ. I wanted to portray the unwavering faith of this young woman during hard times. Since this was my first time using this clay, I found I would change a few things about this sculpture if I did it again, but over all it was a great learning experience.
